Moose Lodge 2239 - Loyal Order of Moose

We are so lucky to have such a great bunch of bands at the Moose. We were so sorry to hear that Rick Barber, the band leader of the Slap Bac Band, passed away in September. He was such a great lead guitar player and his talent will be missed. The dance lessons are just getting better and better. Thanks to all of you for coming out on Friday nights, for the dance lessons, the bands, and the great food. We are still having our chair dance at 8 PM. Having the dance lessons and the bands in the Moose Hall have been a great success. Having a no smoking side has encouraged and increased our membership. Donations at the door for the band have not been going well. The Moose is THINKING about charging a $3 cover for singles and a $5 cover for couples at the door, on Friday nights. This would help cover the cost of the bands. This would make sure we could still be able to have our bands, and a great place to dance. Our Governor will let everyone know, if this happens. The bands we have are great and we are working toward adding some new ones. Come out and enjoy the fun.
