We had another great turn out in April. Thirty-five golfers showed up to play. In 1st place at 11 under were Sonny Hair, Johnny Zuniga, Byron Poche and Dave Caufman. In 2nd place at 9 under were Dennis Daughtery, Danny Britt and Kelly Hardin. In 3rd place at 8 under were Pat Garner, Matt Hoecker, Kelly Reynolds, Lonnie Hopkins and Ray Hopkins. Closest to the pin winners were Pat Garner, David May, Roger Dowdall and Johnny Zuniga. Lonnie Hopkins got within 20 inches of the pin to win the money hole Congrats to all.

A big thanks to Ken Sanders for frying all the catfish, fries, hushpuppies and onion rings. Also thanks to Ruth Sanders and Patty Day for the coleslaw, Francis & Skeeter for the fish and Mrs. Hair for the chicken and dumplings. I hope I remembered everyone. We will be at Querbes on May 15th with an 8:00 am start.

Just a short note. Even though Albert Adams wasn’t a golfer, he was always there to lend us a hand preparing the meals for us. Please remember him in your prayers. We’ll miss you Albert.
